1. What is INSAT?

Institute of Sustainable Agrotechnology (INSAT), previously known as Agrotechnology Development Unit, was established on March 1, 2007.   The Institute is one of the initiatives of the University's Strategic Plans to service the local agriculture industry especially for Perlis.

 

2. When was INSAT established?

INSAT was officially established on January 1, 2013.

 

3. Where is the location of INSAT?

The GPS coordinate for INSAT is 6.65263oN, 100.260908oE and is northern east of Kangar, the capital of Perlis.  It is less than 30km from Kangar and about 7kmto Padang Besar, the border town of Malaysia/Thailand.

 

4. Who is the Director of INSAT?

The Director of INSAT, presently is Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mahmad Nor Bin Jaafar.
