Farm Activities
INSAT has 13 acres of agricultural land as a test plot for open and indoor farming. Among the agricultural projects implemented are mango, corn, fig, hydroponic cultivation, melon, grapes, and ginger. We also implement IoT-based soil parameter monitoring to assess soil conditions, impacting plant growth and productivity. This crop plot is also used as a test plot for agro-robots and for teaching and learning purposes to support academic programs in agricultural engineering. Students have a good opportunity to explore a real agricultural learning process using our test plot.
