1. What is INSAT?

Institute of Sustainable Agrotechnology (INSAT), previously known as Agrotechnology Development Unit, was established on March 1, 2007.   The Institute is one of the initiatives of the University's Strategic Plans to service the local agriculture industry especially for Perlis.

INSAT was officially established on January 1, 2013.

The GPS coordinate for INSAT is 6.65263^oN, 100.260908^oE and is northern east of Kangar, the capital of Perlis.  It is less than 30km from Kangar and about 7kmto Padang Besar, the border town of Malaysia/Thailand.
